The Bachelor Recap for 2/24/2025
On the last episode of The Bachelor, Grant Ellis and his ladies traveled to Madrid. Carolina and Juliana got into a fight, causing the ladies to take sides. Parisa and Natalie were sent home, much to their shock. Sarafiena and Grant had to sign a waiver in case they died during their date.
Confused? You won’t be at the end of this episode of The Bachelor.
Grant and the ladies are now in Scotland. Before the week of dating begins, Grant and Jesse Palmer play golf together, because why the hell not?
Jesse tells the remaining ladies that this week’s dates will determine who will get a hometown date. There will be two one-on-ones and a group date, but no roses given on the date.
Date 1:
Juliana gets first one-on-one.
Grant whisks her off on a helicopter and takes her to meet Calum, the royal valet. They enter a castle, where she is styled by Vixie Rae, who dressed the Royals. They drink champagne and dress up, her in a plaid outfit and him in a kilt.
Later on, she is in a pink gown while he dons a suit for some sort of Princess Diaries dance introduction. They play I’m Gonna Walk 500 Miles on strings and I cannot even begin to process this information.
At dinner, Juliana talks about her life and growing up with an addict. He understands since he had a similar upbringing. This is allowed them to bond over being lone wolves and him showing her his lone wolf tattoo.
They kiss while fireworks go off in the background.
Date 2:
Zoe, Dina, Sarafiena, Carolina and Alexe have the group date, which means that Litia gets the other one-on-one. Zoe is not happy and goes to bed. Carolina talks about wanting more time with Grant and annoys the other women.
The ladies are welcomed as Royal Guests and watch dancing, drink, eat and enjoy each other’s company.
Carolina feels insecure. Even the psychic lady sees that she is feeling insecure. She sits alone while everyone else hangs out, so Grant goes to talk to her. Everyone else is upset about her being so dramatic.
Carolina tries to explain what she is feeling, but cannot articulate it, which is totally understandable. She is in tears, but Grant is confused.
All the girls are now mad at Carolina for stealing time with Grant and for whining.
Grant actually thinks the conversation is real and thinks he and Carolina have a strong connection. They hug it out and she feels better.
It begins to rain, so the celebrations come to a halt. Everyone is still upset over Carolina, and I am sick and tired of it already. They are all also whining and all of them, even Carolina, should know after 20-some-odd-years how this works.
The cocktail party is somber because of the Carolina drama and I can’t even deal with this drama anymore.
Grant spends one-on-one time with the ladies. Zoe wants to know why Grant hasn’t given her a one-on-one date. He says he feels bad about that, but still thinks they have a connection and that one conversation they had meant more than one-on-one date.
The women continue to attack Carolina, and I am sick and tired of this BS. I don’t even know why they are fighting or what they are fighting about because it is so stupid.
Carolina talks to Grant and the other women are mad. Dina goes to talk to Grant about Carolina’s problematic ways and how in the world is there still an hour left in this episode? We still have another one-on-one date to get through and a rose ceremony.
Date 3:
Litia is on this date! They explore, try local food, drink wine and enjoy each other’s company. They also read poetry to one another, which is cute.
They also have a sweet heart to heart and talk about their lives. She talks about growing up in the Mormon religion and how this is the first time she dated outside her religion. This leads to them having a deep talk about religion.
It is actually a sweet bonding experience.
They enjoy a concert by Emeli Sande and dance the night away.
Rose Ceremony:
Before we get to all that, Carolina requests to talk to Dina so she can tell her that she appreciates her friendship. It is a sweet moment and they hug.
Grant looks like he escaped the set of Miami Vice. They all mean something to him, rose or no.
Litia: Got second one-on-one.
Juliana: First one-on-one.
Dina: Carolina’s frenemy
Final Rose Tonight:
Zoe: Only one without a one-on-one
Eliminated:
Sarafiena: My favorite of the girls left!
Carolina: Public enemy #1.
Alexe: Linda the no drama llama’s mama.
Now that Carolina is gone, will the drama also leave the house? What will happen on the hometown dates? Will Zoe finally get a one-on-one? Will we see Jesse do something other than remind Grant that he has one more rose left or golfing?
These questions, and many others, will be answered in next week’s episode of The Bachelor.
