Full House Star Dave Coulier Announces Cancer Diagnosis

Shocking news for Hollywood this morning. Actor David Coulier, best known for his role as Joey on Full House, has just opened up about his cancer diagnosis.

The actor, who also appeared in the sequel Fuller House, announced that he has stage 3 Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. He discussed the diagnosis with People and on his Full House Rewind Podcast.

He had initially gone to the doctor after suffering a respiratory infection that caused swollen lymph nodes.

“Three days later, my doctors called me back and they said, ‘We wish we had better news for you, but you have non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and it’s called B cell and it’s very aggressive,’” he told People.

“I went from, I got a little bit of a head cold to I have cancer, and it was pretty overwhelming,” he says. “This has been a really fast roller coaster ride of a journey.”

He also discussed how his sister Karen is also going through her own cancer battle and how he is currently going through chemotherapy to treat the cancer.

TVGrapevine sends their best wishes to Dave during this difficult time.
