Donald Trump Wins 2024 Presidential Election
We have a President! In a 277-226 vote via the electoral college, is the Donald Trump is once again the President of the United States.
It was a close race with Donald Trump taking an early lead and winning the first battleground state (North Carolina)but Vice President Kamala Harris soon caught up, winning several big states, including California and New York.
Donald Trump also won Georgia and Pennsylvania, two other big battleground states.
The race continued late into the night and into the wee hours of the morning, but thanks to winning several battleground states, a new President was elected.
Meanwhile, the Republicans won the Senate Majority in a 51-43 vote. The House Majority winner has yet to be determined.
