If they accept a plea deal, the minimum charge is 4-5 years in jail. However, since there is also a conspiracy charge involved, the sentence can increase.

As previously reported, the couple, who are parents to Bella Rose and Olivia Jade, allegedly “agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team — despite the fact that they did not participate in crew — thereby facilitating their admission to USC.” The two were arrested last month, along with several other parents, including actress Felicity Huffman.
