LAS VEGAS, Nov. 19, 2018 –  Former ‘Bachelor’ Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his fiancée, Lauren Burnham (whose birthday is Nov. 20), stars of ABC’s 22nd installment of The Bachelor, set off to Las Vegas with a group of friends to celebrate their co-Bachelor/Bachelorette weekend at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas this past weekend.
The couple drove in from Phoenix on Thursday (Nov. 15), getting in Las Vegas around 4:00 p.m.   The Venetian Resort enlisted their Celebrations team, a group focused on curating celebratory events to customize a memorable weekend for the couple and their friends. Luyendyk Jr. and expectant Burnham had a Lago suite with 1,900 square feet of luxurious amenities. The over-the-top experience began with a decorated suite to commemorate the weekend, including pink, gold, and white balloons floating atop the bed, along with a pink and gold flecked cake from The Cake Boss’ Carlo’s Bakery and giant “Bride To Be” letter balloons.
The weekend kicked off at the five-year celebration for Buddy V’s, the Cake Boss Buddy Valastro’s restaurant, inside The Venetian Resort. Prior to dinner, the couple met Buddy “The Cake Boss” Valastro and his wife, Lisa. The group dined on a delicious spread of homemade Italian favorites straight from Valastro’s family recipes.

For lunch the next day, the group dined at the Instagram famous Black Tap Craft Burgers and Beer, and topped off lunch with their signature CrazyShakes.

Arie and Lauren then took a romantic gondola ride through the Grand Canal on one of The Venetian’s iconic gondolas and were serenaded by their gondolier, Peppi.

Then they wanted to get some Instagram moments in front of the LOVE sculpture at the Waterfall Atrium inside The Venetian.

When they arrived the table was set with a large platter that spelled out ARIE in sushi rolls. The group toasted with Patron shots and dined on a three course feast sent from the chef. Next, the group hit the club where Arie and his friends celebrated with bottles of Tito’s vodka and Patron in their corner VIP dance floor table. The group partied into the night dancing and taking shots while celebrating his bachelor weekend in true VIP style.

The ladies also dined at Chica inside The Venetian on Friday night with a menu crafted by the first Latina chef on the Las Vegas Strip, Lorena Garcia. Chef Garcia’s menu is a mix of Latin American flavors with influences from Venezuela, Peru, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina.

During their weekend at The Venetian the group hit up The Dorsey, the resort’s sophisticated bar, as well as The Venetian’s newest cocktail club, the stylish Electra.

On Saturday, the group lunched at Lagasse’s Stadium at The Palazzo. Shortly thereafter Arie and the guys went to The VOID, a fully-immersive virtual reality experience that combines interactive sets and real-time effects for a truly innovative experience. The guys also had dinner at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar, which features a menu of modern Southern comfort fare and craft cocktails.
