Big Brother 12 Updates 8:30 AM BBT, Sat,  July 31, 2010 - Rachel Catches Kathy

Lane is at the sink and Brit is taking a shower. Up in the HoH Rachel is up and using the sink. Enzo comes out of the loo and leaves the room while Hayden knocks, finds the loo empty and enters. Lots of running water on  the cams. Rachel wears long dresses because they took her jeans when she came into the house and all her tops go wtih jeans. She was only left with very short shorts as well. Rachel puts on her long black wooly sweater and rearranges her mic. Brendon is up and heads into the HoH. Rachel heads to the storage room to change her batteries. The counter is full of soda and snack food. Kristen arrives while Rachel is still there and Rachel asks how late she and Hayden were up and she says that they were up for a little while. Kathy silently gets her batteries.

When Kristen leaves Rachel asks Kathy if she can ask a question. She says that she was thinking that she didn't put her on the block and she didn't do that for a reason. She says that she knows she has the option to use the POV but if she did she would think that if she did win it and use it on  Kristen it would be like a slap on the face. Kathy says that if one of them wins will she go up in their place?  Rachel says NO! I didn't put you up twice for a reason. She says that she is not threatening her or anything but it would be a slap in the face. Rachel says that she knows that Kristen is her friend and she would want to use it on her, but think game, not personal. Making a third person hate you is not easy either. Rachel says that she wants to keep the noms the same, and let the house vote. She doesn't think that Hayden will go home. She said that she promised Kathy her vote and she was going to keep that word no matter if she was the only one. Rachel says that there are plenty of floaters when you talk about floaters. Ragan says that Kathy is not a floater, she is a fighter. She is the only person that fights in every comp and gets bruises, and you got one, too and it was so hard for you. She doesn't know why people wanted her out this week, but she knows people lie. She says that you might not get picked, and I know when you are friends it is hard. It is a game, and when someone else is HoH it is not easy to put up a third person. Kathy says that she was worried that she would put her up and Rachel says that is not her intention.

(She asks her not to use it if she plays and wins to remove Kristen from the block. She would see it as a slap in the face since twice, when the house wanted her up, she didn't put her up. She does not intend to use Kathy as a replacement, and wants the noms to stay the same and let the house decide who goes.)
