I tuned into The Bachelor last evening and I am not sure I was ready for what I witnessed. It seemed like bizzaro world. Ali had become head bitch of the "In Clique." Michelle radiated so much drama you tried to avoid her. Vienna was more of a man than Jake.
The show kicked off with Jake taking Vienna on a one on one date that was bungee jumping. Role reversal was the key note of the date. Jake pussied out, and was quivering like a nervous chicken at the chopping block as Vienna calmed him and assured him they could do it as they jumped off the bridge together. What happened to our perfect little Ali? Remember that great date Ali and Jake shared in episode one? It seemed to me like why have the rest of the show? Jake had found his perfect match, Ali was it. Well, last night Ali let her worts show and to me she came across as a jealous domineering bitch, endlessly picking on Vienna. Not that Vienna didn't deserve some of it for her lack of sensitivity in respect to the other Bachelorettes, but what Ali brought was out of proportion to the seen events. Mark Ali down as "Queen Bitch of Turd Island (Bachelor House)."
Next weeks promo indicates it could be Ali and Vienna heading home. I am not one to buy into "The Bachelor" misleading promos, but if that is the case Jake will have effectively gotten rid of all the strong willed women leaving himself primarily with women he feels he can dominate over. At the beginning of the season I was wondering if Jake was the right person to be this season's Bachelor and as the season moves on I am becoming more and more convinced he is not going to be a great catch for the last woman standing.
