The Kardashians Return

The Kardashians Return, what are you kidding me?  Are we actually expected to watch this trash?  Reality TV in a lot of cases has morphed into trash TV and it seems to me the producers of the trash don't appreciate the difference.

I marvel at The Amazing Race production and the fact it wins Emmy's year after year for it's high quality of production. I also shake my head in dismay at shows like the Kardashians, Housewives of whatever county, Jon & Kate Plus 8 and the many others. 

It seems to me that producers have decided we need the trash to satisfy our puriant needs, so here comes another reality TV  season of The Kardasians?  I mean who the hell are the Kardashians to begin with?  Who ever heard of this family before the notoriety of their show?

Just look at the promotion line from the Kardashian website.  Is this what wer are really looking for?

"A tempest of siblings, business and fame engulf Olympic decathlete Bruce Jenner and paparazzi fave Kim Kardashian as their huge Hollywood families collide."

The video promo for The Kardashians Return contains the following references to attract viewers. Mention of a menage a trois, at least two physical fights, women being abused, women abusing, lots of screaming and yelling, faces slapped, blood drawn and of course sex, sex sex and more sex.

If you are one of those that treasure this kind of trash reality TV then it appears you are in for a full season with what turns your crank on E! this Sunday, December at 10/9c.
