So You Think You Can Dance
Top 18 perform, who goes home?

I was really pleased with the results of last nights So You Think You Can Dance.  I almost wish America didn't get to vote off the dancers that leave next because it's more of a popularity contest rather than a dance show. I wasn't thrilled with the tappers when they made the top 20 and knew they would be cut loose very early on. They both were so full of energy though and smiles but neither has what it takes to conquer all types of dance.

Noell and Russell, I personally didn't care for the tennis bit, took too much away from the the dancing trying to keep the racket in play.

Ashleigh and Jakob, that waltz was just beautiful, sooo flowing and elegant and I am not a fan of the waltz at all but Ashleigh made it look so pretty. (I'm also not crazy about her but she moved up on my list last night!)

Victor and Bianca, I thought the church theme thing was dumb and Bianca gave more to that dance than Victor did yet she went home and he didn't? I think the person to blame for that dance was Tyce, not the dancers since they gave what they could imo.

Mollee and Nathan, interesting dance to say the least, Mollee did great. I don't like that the judges keep knocking her about her enthusiasm and her immaturity. She is child and she expresses that. When it comes time to act mature and dance the tango or a waltz, that is when she needs to act more mature. Till then let her be.

Channing and Phillip, I think she did such a great job considering she was so out of her element. It's unfortunate when you can clearly see the distrust in your partner when your about to go in for a lift and that is why this dance failed. Bye Phillip, your smile alone will take you far.

Karen and Kevin, that routine was just smokin hot. Karen can dance like no other, I hope she makes it to the top 2. I don't think there will be a dance that she won't be able to nail and Kevin is an awesome partner for her. I would like to see Karen and Ryan dance one alone though before it's over.

Katheryn and Legacy, I just loved this one and was really surprised! It was an emotional number and they pulled it off big time! I totally agree with Nigel saying no one would remember Katheryn when she made the top 20 but I really hope they show more of her.

Pauline and Peter, the routine was cute but the dance was nothing special, it needed some big moves in it to be remembered.

Ellenore and Ryan, that was intense tango! Really starting to like Ryan more and more but I don't see him making it to the end.

So next week on So You Think You Can Dance, America starts voting, hoping for the best here. Channing will now be paired with Victor, not so sure how that one will work out.

My tops pick right now is Karen, haven't decided on who I like for the top male.
