THE RESULTS SHOW Nov 3, 2009

Hello and welcome to ABC' Dancing With The Stars The RESULTS SHOW! Tonight two more couples say goodbye to the mirror ball trophy dream---but not before we hear from Rod Stewart, Ballas Hough Band and Colbie Caillat.

REPRISE, RECAP, RESULT

The show opens with a Team Tango reprise. Although I like the paso doble better, this was actually very good and I can’t complain about seeing it again. I have to say, for a man his age, Donny is very well built.

We get recaps from last night and the first part of the results. Kelly and Louis are safe, while Mark and Lacey are in the bottom three. WHAT! That is VERY unfair, since she was sick and he had 48 hours to learn a VERY difficult dance.

COLBIE SINGS, ALEC AND EDYTA DANCE

Colbie sings her new single while Alec and Edyta dance. Is anyone else completely captivated watching them? I swear, they are incredible…..I almost forgot someone was singing!

SAMANTHA AND SOME MORE RESULTS

Kelly says in her interview with Samantha that it is a like a marathon, not a sprint. Mark is prepared for the danceoff and Lacey is better, so yay for her! Donny and Kym are safe, while Michael and Anna are in the bottom three.

BALLAS HOUGH BAND

They always have a soft spot in my heart for a video they did for my sister when she was going for her surgery. The special effects on this are awesome and the song is even better. I am downloading it as soon as I am done here.

FLUFF AND MORE RESULTS

There is another package about winning and what it takes to get there. I am more concerned about the results, so I’ll skip to that. Mya and Dmitry and Joanna and Derek are safe. Aaron and Karina are not.

    ROD STEWART

    He sings a song from his new album and I must say, this man is going to be singing when I’m his age! But of course I am biases since I absolutely LOVE him! I grew up listening to him. He has some random dancers accompanying him, not sure WHO they are but they are very good.

RESULTS/DANCEOFF

We get more fluff pieces before we find out Michael and Anna re going home. He talks about his time on the show and Anna says how wonderful he is.

Mark and Lacey do the cha cha cha. They are very good and yes, he can move it, move it! Very impressive.

Len calls it top notch.

Bruno thinks it was good.

Carrie Ann says she enjoyed it as well.

Aaron and Karina have the jive. It is very sharp and clean, but not quite as good as last night.

Bruno is shocked he is in the bottom two.

Carrie Ann thinks this is better than last night’s.

Len calls him the comeback kid.

ELIMINATION

Mark and Lacey are eliminated, which really isn’t fair, but what can I do? He gets a standing ovation as he and Lacey talk about their experience on the show.

The show ends with the two eliminated couples playing Ring Around The Rosy with everyone joining in. Not sure if they all fell down, but I kid you not, it looked like a DWTS version of the game.
