Welcome to Monday morning and the weird and wacky world of celebrity. We have news on 4 fronts this morning, Lindsay Lohan has gone twitter crazy on her Dad, Mel Gibson spawns a girl, Nicolas Cage is broke and Kate Gosselin is back with another special. Lindsay Lohan Wants Her Dad Locked Up
According to Extra, she wrote “My father is a lunatic & doesn’t even deserve such a title since he’s never been around in my life other than when he’d threaten me & my family. He should be where he has always put himself after verbally abusing and physically abusing people all my life – behind bars.” We were not able to confirm Lindsay’s tweets. However, we somewhat felt that she would not, as requested by her father, check herself into rehab, but question her father’s motives to discuss her private life on talk shows. It seems that the Lohans are about to enter a legal fight as Lindsay claims that her father is violating an order of protection against her – as he is calling her cellphone, which he is not allowed to call.
Actor Mel Gibson and his Russian girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva are celebrating the birth of a daughter. That makes it 8 children for Mel! OctoDad!! The Australian-raised actor already has seven children from his first wife Robyn who filed for divorce in April this year after 28 years of marriage. Gibson has said that he and his wife split up three years ago, shortly after he was arrested in Malibu for drunken driving and launched into an alcohol-fueled tirade against Jews. He later apologized and sought treatment for alcoholism. Grigorieva has a teenage son with former James Bond actor Timothy Dalton.
Nicolas Cage has fallen on hard times thanks to his business manager and the IRS. Apparently Cage's money was handled so badly that Nicolas Cage is 6.5 million in debt to the IRS and is selling off assets to clear his debt to the IRS. It is amazing that Cage was so out of touch with the goings on with his own money, but this is a celebrity story we here time again from the sports and Hollywood worlds. I guess it is time for Nicolas Cage to do a few more block buster movies to get his financial world back in shape. Also add to that sad news from a few days earlier. Nicolas Cage's father, August Coppola, dead at 75 Nicolas Cage's father, literature professor August Coppola, has died. He was 75. Coppola is the brother of filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, and he taught literature and served as dean of creative arts at San Francisco State University. Cage spokeswoman Annett Wolf said August Coppola died Tuesday after a heart attack. Besides Cage, Coppola is survived by sons Christopher and Marc and six grandchildren. The much loved and hated media whore Kate Gosselin is back in the news again today. Kate Gosselin's "Kate: Her Story: airs on TLC tonight at 9/8c and is sure to stir the pot and ruffle a few feathers. Perhaps it is Kate's feathers that get ruffled since it will be NBC's New department doing the interview with Natalie Morales asking the questions.

Don’t say you are surprised. Lindsay Lohan has reacted to the rather confused and irresponsible publc behavior of her father and twittered that he needs to be in jail.
