Kate Gosselin is ready to tell all. With the media frenzy surrounding the end of her marriage and her successful TV show approaching critical mass, Kate is sitting down with NBC's Natalie Morales for her most revealing and intimate one hour interview to date. In this raw and illuminating interview Kate will let her guard down and speak candidly. This is Kate Gosselin as we've never seen her before. Viewers will learn just what life is like for the now single mother of eight. Now that we have rid ourselves of the official words above, let's try to digest what is or is not happening here.
The fact that this interview was likely performed prior to Jon Gosselin's recent apology to the fans and Kate I wouldn't expect to see Kate Gosselin replying to Jon's apology unless of course they do a follow up with Kate and edit it into the end of the interview. That will definitely be something to watch for. In Last's week's "You ask, Kate Answer's" special it was more than obvious that Kate was looking upon the future without a partner in positive terms. Kate Gosselin knows she has a tough road a head as a single mom and being able to connect with a future life partner. It seems Jon has had some of the same epiphany as his recent apology my indicate.
All we can do is keep and open mind and tune in for "Kate: Her Story," Monday, Nov. 2 @ 9/8c. on TLC

The mere fact that TLC has hired NBC News to do the special interview interview instantly gives the "Kate: Her Story" some credibility. I am quite sure with NBC's Natalie Morales asking the questions and NBC news in complete control of production we are likely to get more of a real Kate Gosselin than if TLC were to have produced this special. Will Natalie Morales ask the tough questions? I am sure Natalie Morales will ask some tough questions, however there are only 60 minutes in an hour and only so much can be covered. No matter how many questions Natalie Morales asks there will always be boo birds out there saying "Why didn't you ask this or that." Also you have to remember, Kate Gosselin is a lot brighter than Sara Palin, so don't be expecting Palin like screw ups in the interview.
Now that brings us to the future. Is Jon & Kate Plus 8 dead? To be honest I have no idea what the future holds, but I do know with Jon's softening position and recent apology the kids may no longer be out of bounds. We know that neither Jon or Kate have serious prospects for making the big money they had been with TLC for the previous five years. With that in mind I will be keeping my eye on the future, I can see a season of Jon and Kate Plus 8 in which the focus would be on how divorced separated parents cope with life and children. I would imagine the ball is in Jon's court for that to ever happen.
