Big Brother 11 - BradenBig Brother 11
Recap July 16, 2009

Julie Chen opens this episode of Big Brother 11 telling us that a jock is in charge and it really is like going back to high school in this season's Big Brother show. Tonight we have a live studio audience for the eviction show. Braden's nomination sent a wave of emotion through the house as the houseguests scrambled to scheme their way out of their situation.

Ronnie sees himself as the biggest schemer and thinks that he escaped. Russell thinks that Braden is the head of the snake and he wants to cut off the head and see how the lemmings do without him. Braden saw it coming. Jeff sees it as a shot at him since he is closest to him. Braden doesn't see it as something to pout about and says that he is going to stay positive. Jordan feels that someone is starting things and that is why everyone is not getting along in the house. Braden thinks that it is Russell passing stuff to Natalie that is making all the waves in the house. Jordan thinks that it is going to make a mess of the Popular team to lose Braden and she tells Braden that she feels bad for him. She tells him to start talking to people.

Chima is assured by her alliance that she is safe, so she plans to lay low. Lydia is concerned that Jordan was crying when Braden was nominated and she didn't cry when she was nominated. Casey listens but keeps his comments to himself. Russell asks Braden if he knew that it was happening and Braden tells him he had a gut feeling. Russell isn't convinced that they have all the votes they need to get him out, and Braden thinks that Lydia got him on the block with falsifications she made up about him. Braden speaks to Lydia about her selling him out and she says that she never suggested that he be put up. Braden says that everyone knew the week before and so don't let it be a big surprise when you go up, week 2 or 3. Get a tattoo that says that you were evicted and thanks Kevin, too. Lydia says not to attack Kevin, and he says he was sincere with Kevin but she is just a b*. Kevin gets upset with the attack on Lydia and tells Braden he is the laughing stock of the house. The three of them argue and Kevin leaves Braden by the pool and returns to the house.

Julie rejoins us and explains that it is Braden and Chima are on the block. One of them will be evicted tonight. She explains that there are arguments everywhere. Lydia and Jordan have a fight over why Jordan didn't cry when she was nominated. Jordan says she didn't do anything to her and she is going with Russell and them. Lydia says that everything she thought was cool isn't. Jordan says that no one wants to talk to her because she hangs out with Jeff and Braden. Lydia says that she will know what it feels like when she loses her friends. Jordan goes back and screams at Lydia saying that she isn't backstabbing her and she talks to her every day. Lydia is calm while Jordan is so upset that she is loud. Kevin says that if she keeps kicking it with Braden he won't be cool with her because of what Braden said. Jeff thinks he is taking crazy pills because he got into it to protect Jordan. Lydia says that Braden called her a skank, a b* and a slut. Jeff tells Lydia that she saved her own a** and they had the votes to save her, but she sold them out. Jeff is angry that she sold her soul to the other side and they scream at each other from the kitchen over the balcony. Lydia says she is done with it and she is closed for the rest of the damn day.

Jordan wants to stir it up and switch the game around because without Braden she and Laura don't have a good chance at the competition. Jordan approaches Laura with her plan. Laura makes a "deal" with Jesse's group and she thinks that it is time now to switch sides, take on the bullies and get them out of the house. Jordan thinks that they will be shocked to have this happen. Laura says that they are making deals with everybody and lying to everybody. In the diary room Ronnie says that he will entertain every offer, but he is going to do what is best for him in the game. Jordan feels that her plan is working because she has herself, Jeff, Laura, Michelle, and Ronnie. She is going to go after Casey's vote next. Laura and Jordan approach Casey about being the swing vote. He tells the diary room that he feels a bit powerful but will do what is best for him in the game.

Julie greets the houseguests. She asks the Athletes about the trouble in their clique. She asks him why he is going after his own teammate and he decided to address it. He says that some people don't like each other and it is no different in the house. Jeff says that if he doesn't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. Julie laughs and reminds him that everyone saw the argument and he says that they aren't going anywhere. Jordan explains her side of the argument with Lydia.

Julie shares that next we will see who is going to walk out of the Big Brother 11 house. Julie talks with Jesse in the HOH room where the others cannot hear him. SHe asks him how he is doing compared with last summer and he responds that it is harder because he is head of household. She asks him who is the brains and he says Russell, but he isn't going to sell himself short in that department.

It is time to find out who is going home tonight. Julie asks Braden for his last chance to plead his case. Braden says that they are incredible people and they have had a great time, and he has made mistakes that he has apologized for. He hopes tehy will keep him in the house. Chima is asked to speak up next. Chima says that she is amazed at how short people's memories are (bleeped phrases) and anyone who votes for Braden is a vote for a bigot and a misogynist. Chima's words are so strong that whole phrases are bleeped. Julie says this is the most outspoken last pleads she has ever heard.

Russell votes to evict Braden.
Natalie votes to evict Braden.
Jeff votes to evict Chima.
Jordan votes to evict Chima.
Kevin votes to evict Braden.
Laura votes to evict Chima.
Lydia votes to evict Braden.
Michelle votes to evict Chima.
Casey votes to evict Chima's melodramatic behind.
Ronnie votes to evict Braden. He says that he is going to hell.

At five to five there is a tie, and Jesse, as head of household, has to break the tie. When Jesse casts his vote, the evicted houseguest has to gather their belongings and walk out the door. Jesse casts his vote to evict Braden.

Braden says his goodbyes and leaves with hugs to many. He joins the audience greeting him with screams and cheers. Inside the house the guests try to figure it out. Ronnie looks a little scared and very solemn.

Braden says that this is the craziest house and it has been a roller coaster. He says that he is not surprised and it was as close as it can get. He thinks that he was sold out by Ronnie, Michelle or Casey. Braden is told it was Ronnie. Braden says that he seemed sinister and something lies behind those glasses and smirk. He is a great liar. Braden describes the himself as discombobulated. Jeff says that if he is hearing it, it sucks and it isn't the end for them. Russell says that it was not personal. Jordan says that she will miss him. Kevin says that you said a lot that you can't take back. Casey says that you are watching this because you played the crazy surfer kid. Lydia says that you can't live in lalaland in this house.

The head of Household Competition is next. The Power is up for grabs. If you win the entire clique is safe. The competition is called "most likely to" and it is of a poll of how the majority of America answered the questions in a poll. The houseguests will go up in rounds. The houseguest to first correctly buzz in will answer the question. If correct they will eliminate a houseguest of their choice from the game. If incorrect they are out and will be seated. Each clique will be represented until the clique is totally eliminated.

The Questions, followed by the responder, the answer, and who they eliminate:
