Survivor Tocantins his week's episode of Survivor Tocantins opens with Timbira's splintering while Jalapao bonds. Timbira discusses Candace's elimination with Erinn who did not cast her vote with the group. Coach thinks that Erinn is just covering her tracks and feels her comments insulted their intelligence. He thinks she had aligned with the wrong person and now must lie in the bed that she made. Erinn realizes that her association with Candace is going to cost her with the tribe. Jerry is not feeling well and he is trying to fight through it. Used to fighting in Afganistan, he realizes that you just have to suck it up and weather it. Jalapao is excited to try out their fishing gear and they attempt to work with the net to catch fish. JT works with them to get minnows as bait for the larger fish. They have better luck with the poles and are soon roasting fish for dinner. Joe feels that getting fish is a real victory and they will soon be a force to be reckoned with.
Timbira agrees not to condemn each other for their loss, but the coach, who led the group in coming to that decision, talks about the situation with Tyson as soon as they are alone. Tyson feels that Coach taking him into his confidence will give him a leadership role. Joe is so happy to win the reward. Sandy says that Coach was pissed and they feel that Timbira's morale is weak. JT realizes that with the tarp, they are dry while Timbira is getting wet and that will make a difference when they go to their next challenge. On Exile, Taj and Brendan each choose an urn. Taj goes off to read her clue and finds out that the item is surrounded by wood. They realize that it is back at their home camp and decide that they have three days to locate it when they get back to camp. They decide that if they don't locate it and they are not selected again, they will select Steven and Sierra to go instead, forming a four man alliance that will be a secret from the others. Going into the merge, if they all remain, they will have an alliance that will take them to the end. They compliment each other on their covert alliance. Jalapao is happy to have their tarp and realize that Timbira had a wet night, while they were dry and cozy under their tarp.
Timbira returns to camp and Jerry lays down trying to cope with his weakness. Sydney tries to get him to drink more water. In the water, taking a dip, the group discusses that Jerry is the weakest link right now. Coach spies Erinn's look when she realizes that the focus is not on her, and he is very unhappy to note that look. Coach says that he can't look at Erinn after seeing her look when Jerry is on his knees. Sierra is considering that she was sick at one point, but she isn't sure that she is ready to cut Erinn loose. Brendan locates the idol under the tribal statue's skirt. Brendan hides the idol and says that it is not about winning money, but about winning games. Erinn says that it isn't like she wants to throw Jerry under the bus, but she wants to be here. Tyson warns Jerry to look as well as he can. Jerry fakes it as well as he can and says that he would be great if he could have a cheeseburger. Tyson says that if Jerry isn't better he will have to go, but he loves a good blindside and Erinn so wants to be here, so it will be fun to like, crush her dreams. Timbira goes to tribal council and Jeff comments that Erinn said that she saw it and had a plan, but it all fell apart, although she did have it right all along. Jerry says that they need a controlling person and when asked who he wanted, he suggested Brendan. Coach inserts that he was the one making eye contact with everyone, and Erinn says that it is like he tries to throw out an idea without owning it. Erinn says that Coach would like to be the leader, but Brendan would make a stronger leader. Coach argues with her and says that he wants the job. Jeff comments that it seems that Coach has an ego issue.
Next time: Timbira loses their heads while Taj keeps her in the game, while on Jalapao, Sandy turns on the charm. Jerry's last words: He was in Afganistan and in combat and this by far, was the hardest thing to do. He hopes that one of his tribemates wins the big prize. To join our awesome Fan Forum, click HERE
