Finale Recap

Doesn't seem possible that just three months ago, our contestants arrived and found the yellow strip of tape running down the center of the gym where they were greeted by Alison and then taken for their first weigh-in. So here we are at the opening moments of the Finale, biting our nails and waiting to see whether Heba or Ed will be our final contestant.

We are welcomed by Alison who is, as usual, looking fabulous! She is ready to break the tension by revealing the news of which one of the final couple got America's vote. But first, we take a look back at just what the contestants have gone through to bring them to tonight's finale. They got fat together and then they lost the weight together.   Alison introduces the Biggest Loser scale and tells us that today our contestants will face this scale for one final time. She then tells us it is time to reveal America's vote. First she brings out Heba who was the heaviest woman this season. Heba arrives and I am absolutely flabbergasted!   She looks beautiful and very slim. She asks Heba how it feels to have her husband plead with America to let her be the third finalist. She says she is the luckiest woman in the world. Alison then asks Ed to come out on stage. He is absolutely unrecognizable as the Ed we saw on the show. He and Heba are so tall and slim. Ed says nobody knows who he is anymore, not even his friends. Ed says that from Day 1 it was Heba's idea and she deserves it. Alison reveals that it was a landslide - 84% of America chose Ed. Heba says she just wanted the opportunity to be a finalist and no matter what, they are winners. Ed says it's the economy... Heba and Ed go backstage to change into weigh-in clothes.

The first group of contestants to return is Adam and Stacey. Stacy left after one week on the show, but she has really done the job. She looks wonderful. Then we get to see Tom Jr (LT) and Tom. Tom says his wife has also lost 35 pounds.

As Adam, Stacey, LT and Tom head backstage, the announcer says later our finalists, Vicky, Michelle and Heba (oops, must have been wishful thinking on his part) will battle it out (don't you just love live TV). We then find out that America has a chance to win $10,000 by voting on which of the past finalists had the biggest transformation. The winner will be announced by name at the end of Momma's Boys, which premieres after Biggest Loser tonight.

The Weigh-In for $100,000
Before the weigh-in begins, Alison introduces Bob and Jillian, they hug the contestants from last season who are sitting near the front. They then make their way to the stage for hugs from those waiting to weigh in.

Adam from 340 to 260    -80 pounds 23.53%
Stacey from 221 to 156 -65 pounds 29.41%
Tom Jr (LT) from 357 to 287   -87 pounds 24.37%
Tom Sr from 314 to 236    -78 pounds 24.84%

Stacey is in the lead. Alison brings out Jerry who looks fantastic! and Coleen who doesn't even look like the Coleen that left the ranch. Shellay ... wow, she looks so much younger and Amy, you have to see her to believe her. Alison says the Biggest Loser doctor has done some tests on Jerry has has a really good news for him. The doctor says Jerry had an age of 76 and is now running in 5K's, the three diseases gone, the five medications, gone and today his inner age is 52. He says that Jerry came to a reality show and won 24 years of life!

Jerry from 380 to 265 -115 pounds 30.26%
Colleen from 218 to 154   -64 pounds 29.36%
Shellay from 216 to 142 -75 pounds 34.26%
Amy C from 239 to 135   -104 pounds 43.51%

Amy C is now in the lead. Alison brings out Phil looking very thin and svelte and Amy P looking gorgeous in her red halter dress! Then Brady and Renee who is looking mighty fine! Brady says Vicky worked hard and is looking fantastic and he can't wait for us to see her. Renee says she thinks she looks good, but Michelle has taken it to a whole other level. They head backstage to change into their weigh-in clothes.

Phil from 331 to 180    -151 pounds 45.62%
Amy P from 229 to 124 -105 pounds 45.85%
Brady from 341 to 224    -117 pounds 34.31%
Renee from 267 to 161 -106 pounds 39.70%
Heba from 294 to 156 -139 pounds 46.94%

Heba wins the $100,000.

Before our finalists weigh in, we see Ed going through his struggles with food. He says if he gives himself and inch, he will take a mile. He says he can either choose to push through or not to. He says he has chosen to push through and will absolutely not give up. He says Vicky and Michelle would be afraid if they knew how hard he is working.

Bob and Jillian talk with Alison about the contestants. Bob says people need to find things you can do, make healthy choices, move around, just take one step at a time. Bob is excited at how good everyone looks. Jillian says a big part of it is finding your inner demons and being able to wrestle with your outer ones.

We then get a glimpse of what Vicky has done since leaving the ranch. She surprises her son chance at school, he runs to greet her. She says it felt wonderful to have her son in her arms again. She leaves the school and is surprised by her family and friends. She says she could see in their faces they were proud of her. She thanks her family and friends for their support while she was gone. She wants to be the supermom able to take time for herself and still make time for her family. She works our for an hour each day, works, then goes to the gym. She gets home at 8:30 or 9 at night.   She says she did this to be a better mom and right now that's not happening. She says she is working and working and not seeing any results, but she is not giving up.

Finally, we see Michelle. She says she was a girl that was hurting for so long and now she is not going to let life pass her by. We see again her homecoming (everyone is dressed in pink, including her dad).   She tells her friends and family it was all their faces and smiles that go her this far. We see her going to visit her mom. She says it was kinda like the first stop in their new relationship. She says she used to associate pain and anger with her mother, now she chooses to love her where she is right now. She goes to Subway and brings home healthy subs for the family. She says some days she can push herself for 4 hours other days she can't get past 2. She says she know that Vicky and Heba will do whatever it takes to win and she will be the next Biggest Loser.

Alison brings out Ed again. Then Vicky is announced. She arrives in a blue satin dress - and almost falls coming onto the stage. She says the floor is slippery as Bob helps her across the stage.   Michelle is brought out. She is very slim and wearing a red dress. Bob helps her across the stage. Alison says the response of the crowd speaks for itself. Michelle says looking back at her time at the ranch, it was all worth it. Alison sends them backstage to change as we get a preview of the new show Momma's Boys which will premiere after Biggest Loser. She says hello to Jojo and Michael from the cast of Momma's Boys who are in the audience tonight.

While we wait for the finalists to change, we are given the preview of the next Biggest Loser Couples. From the clip, it looks like we will have some of the heaviest contestants ever. There will also be another pound for pound challenge. For every pound you loose, they will donate food to help feed others. Go to nbc.com for more information.

The Finalists Weigh In

Michelle is given the right to say how they will weigh in. Michelle opts to weigh-in in the order they are already standing: Ed, then Vicky, then herself. Alison reminds them that it is not about the pounds, it is about the total percentage of weight loss. Alison tells Ed that Heba has already won the $100,000 and they have a chance at taking home $350,000 except there are 2 others to weigh in. Ed says they are tough competition.

Vicky from 246 to 145 -101 pounds 41.06% (the audience gives her a standing ovation)
Michelle from 242 to 132   -110 pounds 45.56%

MICHELLE has won the Biggest Loser prize of $250,000. Jillian's Black Team wins again!
