Survivor Gabon In the aftermath of Randy's departure, the tribe is fractured. While Sugar is chastised by Bob for her response to his being blindsided by the fake immunity idol, Corrine is upset that others see it as fodder for humor. She feels that she is alone there and she is told that they are not there for friendship. Bob and Ken and he is surprised that he is capable of catching fish. He is proud that he can catch turtles and fish when his major interest is video games. Ken says that Bob is not there to play the game, but is there only to build things. He isn't worried about sending Bob home.
Crystal and Susie win the draw to choose teams when they pull chips from a bag. Sugar, Crystal, and Bob take on Matt, Ken, and Susie. Corinne has to sit out as she was not picked, and has no chance at the reward. The teams must wade through mud tied together to locate sprocket pieces to build a puzzle. Ken, Susie, and Matt are in the lead and head back to assemble the sprocket gears that will interlink to raise a flag. With the team of Sugar, Crystal, and Bob winning the first leg of the competition by raising a flag with the completed gear wheel. Crystal, Sugar, and Bob go to the final leg and have to assemble a sliding puzzle. Bob quickly wins that event and is awarded his pizza, brownie, beer, and video. Jeff informs the others that he has nothing for them and sends them back to camp. Alone and watching the video, Bob is surprised by his wife. He tells her that he is eating termites. She says that he looks dirty and has a full beard. Bob is so excited to see her and says that he was totally convinced that the loved ones sent a video. Bob returns to camp with his wife. The others greet her and she is introduced all around. Bob whistles and their families appear over the hill. Matty is out in the lead and gives his partner a huge and long hug. Crystal says that it was so good to hug Andre. Corinne says she was overcome with emotion at seeing her brother who understands her. Ken walks in private with his sister and talks about his strategy with her. Sugar is given some of her dad's ashes by her sister and they speak to him and then spread some of his ashes in the waters of Africa. Sugar says that she was such a mess that she didn't go to his funeral and it was good to speak of him with her sister. She feels she brought her dad to Africa. Matty takes his girl on a walk and tells her that he wants to share his life with her and share children with her. He tells her that he wants her to be his wife. He cries as he tells her that he loves her and wants her to marry him.. He gives her a necklace that he has made from things in the wild. The families leave and the survivors look strengthened by their visit. Alone again, Bob and Corinne go off to collect water. While they are gone, the five decide to stick together. Sugar says that the plan is to vote out Bob. In the woods, Bob explains to Corinne that when Marcus put the idol into the water, he really didn't send it away. He kept it and hid it around camp. He failed to take it with him the day of the tribal council and was voted out. Bob recovered the idol and kept it safe. He shows her the idol, unwrapping it carefully. He suggests to Corrine that if one of them wins individual immunity the idol can be used to keep the other safe, thereby voting out one of the five. The survivors are called to the immunity challenge. The challenge is to answer questions about the wildlife in Gabon. For each correct question they will receive a ball. Those balls will be used to thow at a ground target. The closest to the center of the target will win individual immunity. The questions. The tribe gets to throw to the gound target. Bob throws well and Sugar gets on the board. Crystal is out with her one ball going wild. Bob takes the lead by being only 3 rings out of the inner circle and no tribemate can unseat him. His second ball gets closer to the target and Sugar is unable to unseat him. Bob wins individual immunity. Bob and Corinne discuss the plan. They decide that Corinne is going to go to Ken and discuss having him take out Matty with them, sharing the information about the found idol with him. Bob goes to Crystal and presents the same plan. Ken starts thinking on his own and decides that if they fix it so that Corrine gets top votes and Matty second that they will flush out the idol and take Kenny out if the idol is real. Bob tells the camera that this is his second fake idol and he is using it to try to take out Matty. He says that he gathers and saves everything and it is coming in handy. He holds up a very believable immunity necklace. He believes that he won't acutally have to use the fake idol in the process since he has convinced others to vote out Matty because Corinne will have the idol, and he has individual immunity, which is his safety net. Crystal believes that if she takes out Matty it will be a strategic move that will advance her in the game. Jeff asks questions about trust and they all speculate that there are times to trust and times to hold it back. They go to vote and Jeff asks if anyone wants to use the hidden immunity idol. Corinne declines after a long pause. Ken nods at her and makes eye contact, urging her to use it. She continues to decline wordlessly.
