Tell me a little bit about yourself.

I'm a Navy wife and I have 4 beautiful tuxedo cats: Micro, Mazzy, Mardi, and Menses. I currently also have a turkey named, Gravy. When I'm not cooking, I like to sing karaoke, baton twirling, and aerial yoga. I love to help people with their spiritual needs. I also like to read Tarot.
What made you decide to be on MasterChef?
I decided to be on MasterChef because I knew I was destined to achieve more in my life. I developed a love for cooking and I felt like I needed to express that to the world. There was a lot of encouragement from my husband and I just want to make him proud of me.

What has been your favorite part of being on the show so far?
My favorite part of being on MasterChef is the friendships I've gained. I love everyone in the MasterChef family. Everyone was so talented in their own way. It opened my eyes to personalities that I haven't ever seen before.

What is one thing you want to learn how to cook?
I'd like to learn how to cook cakes, pies, or anything I can bake. I'm not a baker! I think it would be great to make cakes shaped like cats and crazy characters!

What is your signature dish?
My signature dish is Bhindi Masala with Blackened Chicken Thighs. I like mixing Indian food with Cajun/Creole dishes. I'll eat spicy anythang!

What would people be surprised to know about you?
I think people would be surprised to know, I used to weigh over 400 pounds.

What are you watching on TV these days?

I'm watching The Office everyday. I really like Antique Roadshow when I catch it on PBS. Wait! I forgot South Park over everythang!

Anything else you want to tell America?
Don't allow your past to determine your worth or what you are capable of. Surround yourself with people that will push you to be the best person possible. Don't allow set backs and people to determine who you are and who you will be.

We LOVE Jennifer, soooo proud she is on the show! We've eaten her phenomenal cooking for a few years now and it's awesome that she's made it on to a national competition! Very best wishes always!
