Barry Watson has been a fixture on TV since his 7th Heaven days. He went on to star in Gossip Girl, Masters of Sex and Hart of Dixie. He is now appearing in Date My Dad, which also stars Hollywood icon Raquel Welch. In the show, Barry plays ex-baseball player and widowed single dad Ricky.

In a recent interview, Barry revealed that he is loving his new role and is especially delighted that he gets to work with Raquel. He says it is a real treat to have her on the show and she always brings such a positive vibe to the set. He adds that despite the fact that she is such a huge icon, she has an amazing work ethic and is one of the most professional people he has ever worked with.

Barry also talked about his character Ricky, who is a widower. The show, as the title suggests, is about a dad who is getting into the dating game after losing his wife. His daughters get involved and of course, hilarity ensues. Barry says that he loves the role not just because of what we will see happen, but also because he gets to represent and be a dad on TV. He says he wants to represent fathers and show them in a more positive light. He says that his character might make some mistakes, but at the end of the day only wants to be the best dad he can.

However, the most impressive thing about Barry is his personality. He was so kind and humble, not only to me, but also when it came to talking about his fans. He is so grateful to have his 7th Heaven fan base follow him throughout his career and is glad to share his new journeys with them. He hopes they enjoy this new show and thanks them for all their support.
