Cassie Scerbo has been shining on our television screens since she starred on ABC Family’s Make It or Break It. She went on to do more TV shows and movies and most recently starred in Lifetime’s The Perfect Soulmate. In the movie, the young beauty played Lee, a young woman who becomes obsessed with her favorite writer.

Cassie’s character Lee is what she calls a ‘Single White Female’ type, where she becomes obsessed with a woman she initially befriends. She is in love with their friendship and soon things get out of hand. It is quite different from the characters Cassie is used to playing, so for her, it was interesting for her to see it play out on screen. Her biggest concern was making sure everything looked natural and not like she was trying too hard to become the character. She did a lot of research to get into the mind of the character and try and so she could figure out the WHY of Lee. For example, WHY did Lee act the way she did and how did her past play a role in how she ended up.

However, the most impressive thing about Cassie is that she does a lot of charity work. Her biggest project is working on anti-bullying campaigns. Her goal is to stop bullying and help those who are victims feel better about themselves. Her campaign, Boo 2 Bullying, helps bring awareness by talking to parents who have dealt with their children being bullied, art therapy programs and assemblies which take about the issue. Her huge heart and dedication to anti-bullying makes her stand out above the rest. She will continue to make a difference in the world with her huge heart, loving personality and dedication to making children feel safe. Thank you for all you do!
