Happy Friday to all. This recap is dedicated to Al and his wife for all the amazing things they have done at TV Grapevine. Welcome to week 8. Currently remaining on Jessica's team is Hunter along with Garrett and JesseRay. Team John has Silvia and Cassandra, and team Nicole has one member left Daniel. This week's challenge is to create a men's wear piece along with a female''s piece.

The designers meet with the contestants and explain that this week's task will push people outside of their comfort zone. Jessica marvels over how good Garrett and JesseRay at reaching out of there comfort zone. Cassandra is mostly worried about the time management in which goes on to make 4 pieces. Cassandra will be doing a loose Japanese style pant. Nicole and Daniel will be doing a denim jacket and Nicole says to design with his heart. Silvia will be doing a Polo Shirt for the male and a complicated blouse for the female. Daniel is going to do a denim blouse, along
with a denim biker jacket for the man. Hunter is panicking because she hasn't started her men's pattern. She has never even considered making something for a man. She is attempting to do a rain jacket for both the man and the woman. Jessica is nervous for Hunter, she is worried she may go home, if it doesn't work.

We return listening to Cassandra say how hard her design is. John believes in Cassandra since she has the most experience in men of the remaining designers. Daniel thinks that his outfit is intimidating the other competitors. He also describes Silvia's outfit as everyday and plain. Opposite of what he usually expects of her. Cassandra isn't a fan of JesseRay and Garrett's design.. She describes it as looking like they came out of jail. Silvia is having horrible issues with her seamstress. She starts to say how she is more comfortable with a complicated outfit. She is a panicking mess.
