It’s one of the tightest competitions ever on the show, with some of the most skilled dancing the celebrity contestants have ever pulled off. Night one finds the couples each completing a Redemption Style and Freestyle dance. On night two, the three couples will have one last chance at competitive dancing as they perform a 24-Hour Fusion Challenge, vying to score some extra judges’ points, and one couple will be crowned the “Dancing with the Stars” champion, culminating an incredible season, which will be announced, live, on TUESDAY, MAY 23 (8:30-11:00 p.m. EDT).

On MONDAY, MAY 22 (8:00-9:01 p.m. EDT), the three finalists will each perform two dances – a Redemption Style dance (Viennese waltz or quickstep), and a Freestyle dance – one of the biggest competitive dances of the season.

In the last element of competition, the three couples will perform a new routine as part of a 24-Hour Fusion Challenge. The couples will fuse two contrasting dance styles that they’ve performed this season, and they’ll have less than 24 hours to prepare that dance for judges’ points.

The viewer votes and judges’ points from May 15 and May 22 will be combined along with the judges’ points from the 24-Hour Fusion Challenge to determine the winner. At the end of the night, a champion will be named, and the winner will be presented with the coveted Mirrorball trophy.
