DANCING WITH THE STARS: RECAP FOR APRIL 10, 2017DANCING WITH THE STARS
RECAP FOR APRIL 10, 2017

Hello and welcome to Vegas Night on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars. Tonight is Memorable Year Week and the most powerful show of the season. Mine is 2015, the year my goddaughter Isabella was born. Nothing in the world has topped that feeling so far. She is the light of my life, my everything and the reason I keep going. She changed me for the better and I love her more than words can say.

Star: Normani Kordei

Claim To Fame: Fifth Harmony star

Year: 2012—when she joined Fifth Harmony

Pro: Valentin Chmerkovskiy

Dance: Rumba

Sammi: I remember that season of X-Factor! The band had a couple other names before they officially became Fifth Harmony. I am glad they are there to support her for this dance. WOW, this is so moving and beautiful. There are no words to describe it. It is nearly flawless.

Len: She is terrific and charismatic. He just wants more content.

Julianne: She believes in her as much as hr family does.

Bruno: She gave it to him.

Carrie Ann: Every movement had more empowerment than the next. However, there was a lift.

Scores: 8-7-8-9=32 out of 40

Star: Nick Viall

Claim To Fame: Bachelor

Year: 2016—meeting and getting engaged to Vanessa Grimaldi

Pro: Peta Murgatroyd

Dance: Rumba

Sammi: It was nice, but I didn’t like the troupe members added. It was far too distracting to him and Peta’s actual dance and chemistry. I did like him bringing Vanessa in at the end. That was sweet.

Julianne: This was his best dance.

Bruno: This was the way to go and they connected tonight.

Carrie Ann: It really told the story tonight—it was magical.

Len: His best dance so far, but he can improve.

Scores: 8-7-8-7=30 out of 40

Star: Nancy Kerrigan

Year: 1995-becoming a mommy

Pro: Artem Chigvinstev

Sammi: Hearing her story of six miscarriages is heartbreaking. I cannot even begin to imagine what she went through. Oh, forget it! I can’t even recap this because her story has me crying so much. The dance is beautiful, but her story has me in a puddle of tears.

Bruno: It is beautiful, but work on the turns.

Carrie Ann: She is so inspiring.
