Larry King sits down with host, author, and foodist Alton Brown on the Emmy nominated series  “Larry King Now”to talk about his upcoming "Alton Brown Live! The Edible Inevitable Tour," what inspired his passion for food and whether his popular show, “Good Eats” will return to television.


The celebrity chef discussed how he learned to cook as a way to get dates in college, “Me and food started getting together in college when I found that I could not get girls to go out with me if I asked them out to dinner, but if I offered to cook for them, they were curious." (clip below)


Alton talked about what defines a ‘real’ chef, and why many true chefs have moved into television but have never forgotten that their primary focus is to feed people. The “Cutthroat Kitchen” Host also discussed how he transformed his eating habits, and his body, resulting in a 50 pound weight loss


Alton, the creator of “Iron Chef America,” wrapped up his interview by answering social media questions from some of his biggest fans, including the most unusual pizza toppings he has used on tour, his approach to cooking and whether his popular show, “Good Eats” will return to television, "All I'm going to say is that I am working on a digital project that will make 'Good Eats' fans very happy."
