AN NSYNC REUNION
NSYNC is reuniting. Well, sort of. The boy band, who shot to fame in the 1990s, are going to be reuniting for Lance Bass’s wedding next weekend, TVGrapevine has learned.
On December 20, the heartthrob will marry longtime love Michael Turchin. E! will follow them to the altar in a 90-minute special E! special airing February 5 at 8:00pm ET/PT, Lance Loves Michael: The Lance Bass Wedding. However, there will be one member of the entourage missing.
Lance told E! ”Of course the boys are going to be there, unfortunately Justin's not going to be able to go because that's his last date on tour and I had no idea he'd be touring right next to Christmas. He'll be the only guy not able to make it that day." He went on, "I couldn't imagine getting married without those boys being right there!"
The wedding will also be the first wedding in televised history between two men. Lance said in the same interview, "It's spectacular that people care that much, one just about our wedding, it's so special that people care. But two, that people are so excited about a gay wedding." He went on, "To know that people are excited to see something like this go down just shows you how much things have changed and we're just honored to be a part of that change."
The couple also hopes that their wedding will be a beacon of hope for kids struggling to accept their sexuality. "As a little kid from Mississippi, I would have loved to have seen something like this on my television because there's a lot of little kids out there in small towns that need something like this," Lance added.
