Recap For June 17, 2013
Tonight is the last night for competition between the remaining three artists: Team Usher’s: Michelle Chamuel, or Team Blake’s: The Swon Brothers and Danielle Bradbery.
To start off the show Adam Levine, Shakira, Blake Shelton and Usher perform With a Little Help From my Friends.
The Swon Brothers are the first of the three contestants to perform. They start off by singing I Can’t Tell You Why.
Usher said it was great to see them evolving the whole time while on the show. Shakira called herself a fan and complimented the song choice. She also commented on how the falsetto fit them very well. Adam was touched by the fact the boys dedicated the song to him because he likes the Eagles. Blake said he thinks this season of The Voice is the best. He added that The Swon Brothers always keep people guessing because no one can ever really say they’ve figured them out.
Michelle Chamuel performed next with a song that defined her experience on the show, Taylor Swift’s I Knew You Were Trouble.
Shakira said she was so glad Michelle made it to the finals. She called her extraordinary and even added that Michelle as an artist was needed out there. Adam commented on how Michelle’s performances always bring energy, and energy cannot be fabricated. Blake commented on how she has evolved as an artist. Usher again went as far as calling her the winner again. He felt Michelle was incredible and pointed out the fact that she has actual fans!
Danielle Bradbery and Blake sang a duet of Timber, I’m Falling in Love.
The Swon Brothers defining moment was when they sang Danny’s Song, which I agree with, so they performed it a second time.
Usher said the boys did the song justice. Adam said he got lost in the song. Blake said they harmonized great.
Michelle Chamuel performed Annie Lennox’s Why.
Shakira called her performance beautiful. Blake said she did a good job. Usher felt she connected everybody to the story. Usher said she possesses both likeability and capability making her a successful artist.
The Swon Brothers and Blake Shelton performed Celebrity together.
Danielle Bradbery performed Maybe It Was Memphis because it was her defining moment song.
Shakira said she grabbed the bull by the horns. Adam said he was insanely jealous of Blake for having Danielle. He even said he thinks Danielle is the winner. Blake said she is one of the most important artists to walk across that stage.
The Swon Brothers, Danielle Bradbery, and Michelle Chamuel and the rest of the cast of this season came together on stage to perform Home.
Michelle Chamuel and Usher performed a duet together of One Love.
Danielle Bradbery closes the show with a performance of Born To Fly.
