Hello, and welcome to The Voice on NBC. Tonight is the first night of the live shows, which means America will soon be in charge of who will stay and who will go. Let’s get down to business!

Gwen: She is effortless and beautiful.

Adam: She is great and confident

Blake:  She has a special sound and personality, coupled with a great sound.

Pharrell: He loved it and how she kept the sweet spot the whole time.

Gwen: She is so proud of her.

Blake: Best performance ever.

Pharrell: He owned it and had fun.

Gwen: He sounds like a record.

Adam: He is awesome and one of his favorites.

Blake: He always performs perfectly.

Contestant: Reagan James

Pharrell: Beautiful.

Gwen: Effortless despite being nervous.

Blake: One of the most important artists on the show. 

Contestant: Craig Wayne Boyd

Song: Some Kind Of Wonderful by Grand Funk Railroad

Pharrell: He has his own vibe.

Gwen: This is his epic moment and he has power over the room.

Blake: This is the performance of the night.


Contestant: Chris Jamison

Song: Don’t by Ed Sheeran

Blake: He did a great job with a tough song.

Pharrell: He loved it!

Gwen: He did so much with what he was given.

Adam: controlled and balanced.

Contestant: Matt McAndrew

Song: God Only Knows by The Beach Boys

Blake: He sung this perfectly.

Pharrell: He is so awesome.

Gwen: She was left almost in tears.

Adam: He is magical, fearless and unique.

Contestant: Taylor Phelan

Song: Cool Kids by Echosmith

Pharrell: He did exactly what he was supposed to do.

Gwen: He is great.

Adam: Incredible and amazing.

Contestant: Mia Pfirrman

Song: Young and Beautiful by Lana Del Rey

Blake: Great performance.

Pharrell: She was the star of the performance.

Adam: He is amazed by her performance.

Contestant: Damien

Song: I’m Not The Only One by Sam Smith

Blake: He loves the combination of his soft, smooth voice and power.

Pharrell: He has an elevator quality to his voice—whatever that means?

Gwen: His truth his universal.

Adam: The whole country felt his performance.
