Hello, and welcome to part one of the America’s Got Talent finale on NBC. Tonight, our top six acts will perform one last time for our votes and a chance to win a million dollars and a headlining act in Las Vegas.

Round 1:

Contestant: Quintavious Johnson

Talent: Singing

Commentary: HOLY FREAKING CANNOLI! I can’t even…his voice is incredible. He is like a little baby Luther Vandroos with that voice and his preppy style just makes me love him even more. He is the whole package. Win or lose, he is getting something out of this experience. I can see him with his own TV show or having his own album by the end of the year.

Mel B: He is incredible.

Howie: The music fills his heart. He is the little king.

Howard: He is a real pro at twelve years old.

Heidi: He is a true entertainer.

Contestant: Mat Franco

Talent: Magician

Commentary: He tells a story about the judges drinking while doing the balls under a cup trick. It goes by really fast, but it ends with all the balls having pictures of the judges on them. It is a very different twist on the trick, but I enjoy it and he has charisma to make an old trick new and different.

Howie: He has an amazing set of balls…and the whole package.

Howard: He is a true pro and hope America appreciates it.

Heidi: Everything about him is magic.

Mel B: He is seamless and engaging.

Contestant: Emily West

Talent: Singing

Commentary: She is beautiful and has a voice that just is beautifully haunting.

Howard: What a moving, moving performance.

Heidi: She is glad we heard this song again.

Mel B: She preferred the first performance of this song.

Howie: She is a winning talent.

Contestant: Miguel Dakota

Talent: Singing

Commentary: He has that rock and roll vibe through and through. From his voice to his look, there is no question at all that he is a superstar!

Heidi: He is back!

Mel B: He has that special extra something.

Howie: He thinks America is going to vote because he has the whole package.

Howard: He isn’t sure if this is a winning performance.

Contestant: Sons of Serendip

Talent: Music

Commentary: WOW! They are just so gorgeous to listen to and so peaceful. I hope that win or lose, we hear more from them in the future.

Mel B: They are consistent and nail it every time.

Howie: They are the most talented as musicians.

Howard: They have pure, raw talent.

Heidi: They are always on and always great.

Contestant: AcroArmy

Talent: Dance

Commentary: I wish I knew how to move like that. I can see them performing anywhere. I hope they go on tour with this because I think people around America would love an act like this.

Howie: This should be in the Olympics as an act!

Howard: He hopes America appreciates this act.

Heidi: They deserve a show in Vegas.

Mel B: They are what the show is all about.

Round 2:

Contestant: Mat Franco

Talent: Magic

Commentary: Aw, his grandma is there! How sweet!  This is another card trick. There are audience members holding hidden cards. Mel B. comes to the stage and Howard (at the table) shuffles and chooses a card. The audience members walk around until he says stop.

Howard chooses black and red cards as Mel B. arranges the people in stage. Somehow it all adds up where the same ones are out of place. WOW. He always has me guessing.

Howard: He thinks he has a chance of winning and he loves him.

Mel B: She loves him.

Heidi: She is going to be up wondering how he did this!

Howie: He is so proud and thinks he is the next David Copperfield.

{sidebar id=8} Contestant: Sons of Serendip

Talent: Music

Commentary: I am in tears watching them….WOW. They are really bringing it tonight and I can’t wait to see what they do in the future.

Heidi: Another great performance.

Mel B: They killed it and she wants their album now.

Howie: Thank you for doing what you do!

Howard: They are super talents.

Contestant: Quntavious Johnson

Talent: Singing

Commentary: He is a superstar through and through. Win or lose, he is the next big thing in music. I feel it in my bones.

Mel B: He is a true superstar.

Howie: He loves him!

Howard: It was a remarkable performance.

Heidi: It was a joy watching him blossom on the show.

Contestant: Miguel Dakota

Talent: Singing

Commentary: Ladies all around America are swooning over him. He is incredible and going to be the next big thing to hit the bedrooms of tween and  teen girls everywhere—he will be on posters, backpacks and have sold out concerts.

Heidi: She loves him and hope people vote.

Mel B: It was a risk and she loves him.

Howard: This was his best, strongest performance.

Howie: He hits the charisma factor 100%

Contestant: AeroArmy

Talent: Dance

Commentary: I think my jaw was on the floor for 99% of that performance. How they did any of this was beyond me. I am impressed and in awe of them.

Mel B: They were on fire!

Heidi: It was jaw dropping.

Howard: They are unbelievable.

Howie: It was a winning performance.

Contestant: Emily West

Talent: Singing

Commentary: Beautiful. That is all there is to say. What a way to end the night.

Heidi: She is happy she is here and didn’t give up on her dream.

Mel B: That is off the chain!

Howie: It was a risk well taken and a million dollar act.

Howard: She has charisma and original style.

Join us tomorrow night for the finale. I will actually be there to see the show, so prepare yourself for lots of AGT interviews and gossip as well as the results. Goodnight.

America’s Got Talent” on Wednesday, Sept. 17 (8-10 p.m. ET) on NBC, rounding out a lineup that includes previously announced performers Jennifer Hudson, Lenny Kravitz, Pitbull, Ed Sheeran and Train. ‎‎

In addition to solo performances by Pitbull (featuring the Rockettes) and Ed Sheeran, the final six “AGT” acts will perform alongside their idols for a very special evening of one-of-a-kind performances. The collaborations are: Travis Barker with AcroArmy, Jennifer Hudson with Quintavious Johnson, Lenny Kravitz with Miguel Dakota, Cyndi Lauper with Emily West, Train with Sons of Serendip and a surprise celebrity guest assisting Mat Franco for a special illusion.‎

Travis Barker rose to fame in the late 90’s as drummer for punk-pop band blink-182. Barker joined the band in 1998 and remained with the band until the end of its tenure in 2005 and again when the band informally re-formed as presenters at the 2009 Grammy Awards. In 2007, Barker released a series of remixes in which he put his unmatched percussion style on songs such as “Umbrella” by Rihanna and “Crank That” by Soulja Boy. He continued to develop his skills as a producer, releasing a star-studded debut solo album “Give the Drummer Some” (2011) with features from rap titans such as Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, and Ludacris. Recently, Barker produced an entire EP, “Pyscho White” with rapper Yelawolf. Barker continues to produce music and play various music festivals across the country, while overseeing his street style/skate accessory/apparel company Famous Stars and Straps (founded in 1999.)‎

This year, multi-talented Grammy, Emmy and Tony-winner Cyndi Lauper celebrated her 30-year solo career with a special re-release of her debut album, “She’s So Unusual: A 30th Anniversary Celebration” (released April 2014). The deluxe two-CD album is comprised of rare demos, live concert recordings and remixes of some of Lauper’s classic hits including “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” and “Time After Time.” Recently, Lauper has received an abundance of praise for her work on the critically-acclaimed Broadway production “Kinky Boots.” Lauper earned a Tony Award for Best Score and became the first woman to win that award solo. “Kinky Boots” just launched its first nation-wide tour, hitting cities across the country including San Diego, Los Angeles, Seattle, Denver, San Francisco, and many more.‎

Multi-platinum rock band, Train, is set to release their seventh studio album, “Bulletproof Picasso” via Columbia Records (Sept. 16.) The album is a collaborative body of work—the band’s frontman, singer/songwriter Pat Monahan, enlisted the help of a variety of collaborators including Butch Walker (producer) and Jake Sinclair (engineer) to add their musical expertise. The first single off the album, “Angel in Blue Jeans,” has already made the Top 15 of Triple A and Adult Top 40 radio. Formed in San Francisco in 1994, Train has delivered ‎ twenty years of chart-topping hits such as “Meet Virginia,” “Drops Of Jupiter (Tell Me),” “Calling All Angels” and “Hey Soul Sister.” The band has earned multiple platinum/gold citations, including three Grammy Awards, two Billboard Music Awards and dozens of other honors.‎

The evening will culminate with host Nick Cannon announcing the winner of Season 9 of “America’s Got Talent.” This season’s winner will headline “America’s Got Talent Live” at The AXIS Powered by Monster at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas (Sept. 26 and 27).‎ The show will feature fan favorite acts from Season 9 as well as Season 8 runner up, comedian Taylor Williamson. Since appearing on “AGT,” Williamson has been headlining sold-out comedy clubs and theaters across America, making people laugh with his dry, silly, self-deprecating sense of humor. Tickets range in price from $59.50 - $129, plus applicable tax and fees, and may be purchased online at or in-person at The AXIS box office at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.‎

During this week’s two-night finale, “AGT” host Nick Cannon will take fashion to a whole new level when he takes the stage in a custom made, all-diamond pair of shoes valued at $2 million. The shoes, designed and created by famed jewelry designer Jason Arasheben, CEO Jason of Beverly Hills, are made of over 14,000 full cut round brilliant white diamonds and took nearly one year and over 2,000 man hours to perfect. “I always experiment with fashion and jewelry, but this year we wanted to make something original for the finale,” said Cannon. “So it just seemed fitting that since we’re all about winning the million here at ‘AGT,’I should have about a million on each foot.”‎
