Hello, and welcome to The Bachelorette on ABC. Tonight, Andi Dorfman continues her journey to find love with her remaining suitors. Tonight, we are in Venice, Italy for drama, romance and beautiful views.

We open up tonight's episode with everyone arriving and preparing to find out who will get the first date. Andi joins them and says the first one on one date will begin immediately.

Nick gets the date, which he thinks is shocking. He is glad he has the chance to redeem himself.

They spend the day exploring, eating pizza and feeding the birds. He hopes this is his way of showing he is not the person he was on the group date and she talks about falling in love.  However, she still wonders what is going on with Nick and the other guys.

Aside: This looks like my kind of date. I would love the chance to explore a city like this and just take in the culture.

'Don't fall in love with the most beautiful woman in the word, but with the one who makes your world more beautiful.' Favorite quote of the night so far.

I am loving this gondola ride portion of the date--the love quotes, the kissing, the culture--everything is perfect.

At dinner, they talk about his attitude on the group date.   He is also honest about his feelings and what was going on with the other guys in the house. She is glad he is telling the truth about everything and decides to give him a rose. She also feels like she is in a dream or on another planet with him.

The night ends with them dancing, kissing and wearing masquerade masks.

{sidebar id=8}Cody is upset because he has yet to have a date with Andi. He compares himself to a dog being dragged around this journey. He says if it doesn't happen tonight, then he might be sent home.

Date Card Two: Everybody left in the house except Cody is on this date, which means he has the one on one. He is psyched and can't wait to see where things go.

Before we get to the date, we find out Andi got another letter from her secret admirer. Anyone want to take a guess to who it could be?

This date consists of them all taking lie detector tests. Um, no….just no. I am not a fan of this. I believe in honesty, but a lie detector test like this is just plain stupid. There has to be some sort of trust in the relationship.

To be honest, I fast forward through most of it because it is just so stupid. Are you good in bed? Do you wash your hands after you use the bathroom? REALLY? This is the best they can come up with?

Apparently, there were lies that were told… everyone. She rips it up and we move on to bigger and better things.

One on one time….there is a lot of kissing and lie detector test reenactments. All the guys on this date look like they should be in an Abracrombie and Fitch ad. It is boring, there is nothing we haven't seen before….and the only redeeming part of this boring date is when Chris says he is the secret admirer. He gets the rose, of course.

At the house, Cody talks about how Nick isn't the guy Andi thinks he is. He hopes to show her the real Cody and that they get to know each other better.

Their date begins--and she can't stop talking about how much he loves his eyes. They are in Verona, the birthplace of Romeo and Juliet. This means the date is probably doomed from the start. The fact that she is showing him places related to the play and they reenact parts of it isn't exactly a good sign either.

I do admit, the Letters to Juliet part is pretty cool. They read and respond to some of the letters written to Juliet.

If they start singing Hey, Juliet by LMNT I am done here.  I should already be hiding in shame because not only do I REMEMBER the song, but I actually have it on my workout music list.

At dinner, he reads her a letter and tells her how much he is falling in love. Seeing him this open, this vulnerable is so sweet and endearing.

However…..Andi tearfully says there is only a friendship and doesn't think there is a romance there. Basically, it is the most dramatic, tearful friendzoning I have ever seen in my life.

He says that this is tough to deal with as he is sent home. He says the bottom line was that he was rejected.

The guys at the house seem somber as they realize Cody has been sent home.

Andi is crying over this, saying she would rather feel the pain from last night than deal with this.

Cocktail party: kissing, drama and people whining that they want time with Andi. The guys still don't like Nick. There is seriously nothing noteworthy here.

Andi talks to Chris Harrison about her week and is concerned about Josh's reaction to the lie detector test. She says this is a hard situation to be in and it is very scary for her.

Rose ceremony time: Nick and Chris already have roses, so they are safe. Dylan, Brian, Marcus and Josh all get roses, which means our favorite pantsapreneur JJ is going home. I love how he is leaving dressed as the Doctor Who/Bill Nye The Science Guy love child. He is my favorite this season.

Andi tells him it is hard to let him go, but she can't lead him on. He agrees that it is better this way, but he is not happy. He did not expect this and is almost in tears over the situation.
